Ocean lovers will enjoy our under the sea Sunrise Yoga at Sydney's stunning Darling Harbour Aquarium. Set in the epic Great Barrier Reef exhibit, enjoy mellow yoga surrounded by a visual feast of tropical fish, corals, sharks & a virtual beach! Blissfully zen, the hypnotic scene lulls you into a state of relaxation, as if floating in the ocean itself (while staying firmly on dry land), with ambient music to drift away on. Yoga Under the Sea is a yoga event rescheduled for covid-safe times in 2021, located deep inside Sydney's largest fishbowl (scroll down to Preview Gallery), enjoying spectacular 360 degree underwater vibes during a 1 hour experience led by our founder, Sasha Hawley. This is a class beginners & pre/post natal ladies can enjoy, as well as those more experienced/advanced at yoga. Everyone is welcome, including kids 5+ years old (accompanied by supervising adult, on separate tickets).

About these events

The event starts and finishes punctually so those heading off to work have enough time to arrive in the same state of calm & contentment in which they left Yoga under the Sea. Tourists will have the opportunity to sample Australia's Great Barrier Reef from the comfort of the Sydney Aquarium, with an exclusive section opened after class.

Arrival time is 6:45am for a 7am start, finishing sharp at 8am.

Participants can linger for photos and a walkabout for 15 minutes after.
